Jon Olaf Santa Claus: Frozen Shadows (Jon Olaf Santa Claus Series Book 2)
About
Jon Olaf happily arrives at Santa’s mansion at the North Pole at the end of November to prepare for the Christmas season, but then a terrible sight confronts him. Mr. Takashi is sitting in a chair in his tech room, completely lifeless, he has been murdered. But what surprises Jon Olaf the most is that he is frozen in a defensive posture.
Mr. Claus calls a staff meeting and announces that it is necessary to make general changes in the activities of the Santa Claus Center, with the associated hiring of assistants and cooks from all over the world.
Jon Olaf is given the task of going to Tokyo and finding out who Toshizo Tanabe is, and with him is his new assistant, or assistant girl to be more precise, her name is Penélope, and she is a hot-blooded Argentinian.
It’s not until Jon Olaf sees large beds of frozen tuna at the Tsukiji fish market that it occurs to him that Mr. Takashi was probably murdered there.
At home, too, everything is changing. His mom has started seeing someone she doesn’t want to introduce to him, Olivia Tolafie has gone on a year’s study leave and Jon Olaf has a new teacher who makes even more demands on him than Olivia did.
